Transportation to Appointments

We can assist with rides to island clinics or health-related appointments in town.

Garbage & Recycling Pick-ups

Yes, we can even help take out the trash or take your recycling into the depot.

Friendly Visits & Companionship Care

We can make tea, prepare a meal, help with a project, or stay with you while a spouse or family member is away from home.

How to Access our Home Assist Services

Contact our Care Coordinator to book any of these services. They will do a confidential in-take with you and answer any questions you may have.

Some Home Assist services are free of charge (medication pick-ups, transportation to appointments, and friendly visits with a volunteer).
Other services have a set fee, and some are charged on an hourly basis.
There is a sliding scale ($0-$35) for hourly fees based on income.
No one will be turned away if they cannot pay. Any fees or money raised is fed back into the program to serve more people.
